The name says IMAX.
Useful for discovery, never treated as proof. Filename claims start at the lowest evidence level.

Your key turns into a personal addon URL right here in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere until your player asks for a stream.

Why IMAX matters at home
Same screen. More picture.
IMAX editions open the frame vertically. Pick a ratio to see how much image a standard widescreen release throws away.
2.39:1 · SCOPE
The quality ladder
REMUX first. Always.
Every candidate is parsed and ranked deterministically. Cached streams lead; disc REMUX beats encode, encode beats WEB, and filename claims never outrank measurements.
01Top tier
IMAX 4K REMUX
Untouched UHD Blu-ray video with expanded 1.43:1 / 1.90:1 sequences and lossless TrueHD Atmos or DTS:X. The reference.
02Disc REMUX
4K UHD REMUX
Lossless disc video and audio without an IMAX claim. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ preserved.
03High WEB
IMAX WEB-DL 2160p
Streaming masters with IMAX expanded ratios. Dolby Vision + Atmos, at bitrates below disc.
04Claimed only
IMAX-branded encodes
The filename says IMAX but nothing is verified. Surfaced and labeled, never ranked above measured tiers.
Evidence, not hype
Claimed → Measured → Verified.
The file shows its work.
ffprobe, MediaInfo, bitstream metadata and active-image sampling record what is actually present.
Evidence agrees.
Independent edition records and measured presentation details support the claim, with caveats still visible.
FAQ
Good questions.
Is my TorBox key stored anywhere?
No. The key is encoded into your personal addon URL in your browser. Your player sends it with each request, and IMAX+ uses it only to talk to TorBox. It is never written to disk or logs. Treat the URL like a password and regenerate your TorBox key if it ever leaks.
What does "⚡ Cached" mean?
TorBox already has that release, so it plays instantly. Streams without the badge are added to your TorBox account first and start once TorBox finishes fetching them. Seeder counts show how quickly that is likely to happen.
What's the difference between 1.43:1 and 1.90:1?
1.43:1 is the full IMAX 70mm film frame and is used for select sequences (Oppenheimer, Interstellar, The Dark Knight). 1.90:1 is the IMAX digital frame used for most expanded home releases. Both show more image than standard 2.39:1 widescreen.
Why are most titles marked "theatrical"?
Every movie released in IMAX is listed, but an expanded home presentation is only claimed when there is presentation evidence. Theatrical-only titles still stream normally; the best available edition is ranked first.
Do I need TorBox?
Only for streams. The catalog-only install gives you all the IMAX shelves in Stremio or Nuvio, and your other addons can supply the streams.
Which apps work?
Any Stremio-compatible player, including Stremio (desktop, Android, TV, Web) and Nuvio. Use "Install in app" on a device that has the player installed, or copy the URL into the player's addon screen.
